A new exhibit, History of the Book: Selected Items from the Donald & Beverly Gerth Special Collections & University Archives, features a brief history of print and the book, drawn from the rare and fine book collections here at Sacramento State University. The overall collection includes numerous illuminated manuscript leaves, a beautiful facsimile of the Gutenberg Bible, and local fine-press books. The exhibit highlights material that helps illustrate the history of print and the book.
