Ready for kick off? The Sacramento State University Library invites all alumni, students, faculty, and staff to join us in our Homecoming Week celebration featuring events hosted by StingerStudio, the Friends of the University Library, and the Gerth Special Collections & University Archives. All events are free and open to the public.
The Friends of the University Library begin it all on Tuesday with a special Pop-Up Book Bin event on the first floor of the library. Our Friends will host a limited time free book bin featuring a wide selection of gently used books, including mysteries, history, children’s books, and even some Sac State yearbooks.
Date + Time: Tuesday, October 13, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Library First Floor Lobby
Next, StingerStudio welcomes you to craft the perfect game day accessory during their Homecoming MakerBreak on Wednesday. Create your own gameday button pin and rep your school pride (while supplies last). Don't miss out on this crafting experience!

Finally, the Donald and Beverly Gerth Special Collections & University Archives Department open their doors on Thursday for a special Open House event. Our SCUA librarians invite all Hornets to learn about the history of the Sacramento region and Sac State. Join them as they share highlights from the University Archives and special collection selections from the Japanese American Archival Collection, Royal Chicano Air Force Poster Collection, and Sacramento Rock & Radio Collection. Look into the past with this insightful Homecoming event!
