The Acquisitions Department of the Library at California State University, Sacramento is comprised of two units: Acquisitions and Serials. The Acquisitions Unit is responsible for purchasing and receiving all materials for the CSUS Library collection in both print and non-print formats; receiving and processing Government Documents; and coordinating all gifts of books and periodicals to the CSUS Library. The Serials Unit is responsible for the checkin of all serials into the Library online catalog, periodical shelving, book repair, and binding. The department head is Jennifer D. Ware.
