Sasha Abramsky is a widely published freelance writer and book author. His writings have appeared in The Nation, The New Yorker online, The Atlantic, Salon, and many other publications. His most recent book, Jumping at Shadows, explores the age of demagoguery and the political and cultural consequences of the rise of a fear-based politics. Abramsky teaches writing at UC Davis, and lives in Sacramento.
