Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Instructional Services unit to promote the use of library resources as an array of teaching/learning tools and assist students, scholars and community users in developing and fostering information competence/literacy skills. The means to achieve this goal can be realized through a combination of instructional sessions, tours, tutorials, online or personal consultations that allow student scholars to learn via a format that matches their individual learning style.

Information Literacy Student Learning Outcomes: The CSU system is committed to graduating students that are Information Literate/Competent; who have the research and information skills to find, evaluate, use, and communicate information in all of its various formats.
