JUVENILE: CALDECOTT MEDAL AWARD BOOKS |

The Caldecott Medal, established in 1938, is presented annually by the Association for Library
Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to honor the illustrator
of the most distinguished American picture book for children published during the preceding year.
The award is named for Randolph Caldecott (1846-1886), English artist and illustrator. |
