Laptop borrower policies have changed. Loss of laptop checkout privileges will now occur after the second overdue instead of the first, and loss of privileges are now for only one semester instead of an entire academic year. To read the laptop user agreement form—which includes the complete laptop policy description—go to: http://www.csus.edu/laptoploan/downloads/SacState-LaptopLoanAgreement.pdf.
Payment of library fees may now be made online. Previously all library fees had to be paid at the Library User Services Desk. Now payments can be made through MY EUREKA. For more information go to: http://library.csus.edu/content2.asp?pageID=736.
A new PrintSmart station has been set up in the first floor of the Library near the Reserves computers along the East wall. This should help provide greater convenience for printing from the computers on the first floor.
White board erasers and markers may be checked out at the User Services desk. There is a two-hour check out period for markers and erasers.
Library patrons can complete the following tasks at a single User Services desk:
- Check out/renew books
- Check out/return reserve material
- Pick up/return interlibrary material
- Check out/return laptops
Fine payments at the User Services desk are accepted:
- Monday - Thursday: 8 am - 9 pm
- Friday: 8 am - 6 pm
- Saturday: 9 am - 4 pm
- Sunday: Noon - 9 pm
With the start of the Fall 2010 semester the policies regarding money transactions in what used to be the Circulation Department have changed. The new User Services Department will no longer accept cash, checks, or money orders for payment. Likewise, User Services cannot make change. User Services will still accept Visa, Master, Discover or OneCard for all payments.
Starting with the Fall 2010 semester there will no longer be a Photoduplication Department in the Sac State Library to handle photocopier or PrintSmart printer problems. All issues related to photocopiers and PrintSmart will be handled by campus Copy Services (photocopy machines) and IRT (PrintSmart printers).
