Abstract: Homer W. Ibser served on the faculty at California State University, Sacramento in the Departments of Physics and Astronomy. He focused primarily on nuclear power and the negative effects of radiation. He was also an advocate for the closing of the Rancho Seco nuclear power plant.
The collection
consists of writings, correspondence, books, video cassettes,
teaching materials, articles, news clippings, pamphlets,
catalogs, publications, reports, and summaries. A large
amount of the collection pertains to the Sacramento Municipal
Utilities District (SMUD) and the Rancho Seco nuclear power
plant.
