Abstract:
Brigham Arnold was hired in 1954 to teach Geography and
Anthropology at California State University, Sacramento.
He became head of an independent Department of Geography that
offered an undergraduate major in the field, which was the
initial beginning of the Geography program at the university.
The collection
consists of books, journals, class notes, maps, and subject
files.
