Abstract: Wayne R. Hultgren is the
founder of the Sacramento Chapter of the Modern Transit Society.
He was the president of the society from 1976 to 1980. Wayne R.
Hultgren became involved in the efforts to introduce light rail
transportation to Sacramento, which commenced in 1987.
The
collection consists of meeting minutes, correspondence,
notebooks, reports, newspaper clippings and brochures
