Library Instruction Rooms and Labs: Library 0136, 2022, 2023 and 2024

The University Library has several rooms designed so that librarians can offer instruction tailored to course-specific research needs. Included are labs so students can have hands-on experience in searching library databases, catalogs as well as search engines such as Google. These are departmental labs and are not scheduled through campus Space Management.

Faculty members who would like to bring their classes to the Library for instruction may use the Instruction Request Form, contact the Subject Specialist Librarian for their discipline, or contact Linda J. Goff, Head of Instructional Services, to schedule a research session with a librarian.

Library 0136 is both a Smart Room and a Laptop Lab with 30 laptops. It is located on the Lower Level, in the Northeast corner adjacent to the Friends of the Library Book Bin.

Library 2022 is a Smart Room with 50 tablet chairs and additional seating to accomodate up to 75 users. It is located on 2 North, adjacent to the elevator lobby.
