Theses and projects written by Sacramento State graduate students are bound and held in the Library for research use. Access to the materials is provided in three ways: microfiche, hard bound and archival microfiche. Theses are submitted to the Graduate Studies office on campus and brought to the Library which arranges for microfiche processing and binding. Microfiche copies of theses are available in the Microforms Collection, housed in the Library Media Center and may be requested using the call number Microfiche 009985 and the authors last name, e.g., Microfiche 009985 Martinez. Reader/printer machines provide a means of reading or obtaining hard copies of microfiche theses. The Library then sends the materials out to be bound by a commercial bindery. These bound theses are cataloged and shelved by call number on the Lower Level and circulate. University Archives receives a copy in microfiche which serves as a source copy. Please see Special Collections and University Archives for their hours of operation. |
